CT Image of Diffuse Liver Disease

Abstract

|
|
During the last one year, 15 cases of diffuse hepatic disease were reviewed. Of theses, 2 cases of fatty liver showed CT number lower than the 62.3±5.6 HU for normal liver. Cases with isodensity included 8 cases of liver cirrhosis (including 2 cases of hepatoma), 4 cases of chronic hepatitis and 1 case of malignant lymphoma. No one case with hyperdensity was observed. After careful investigation, it was dem3nstrated that CT has broad application and efficacy in diffuse hepatic disease.
